About
Hi, I’m MJ. I’ve been making art for as long as I can remember. I see art as a way to connect with stories, places, and people. My work moves between landscapes, myths, fashion figures, and everyday moments, exploring how imagination and memory shape the way we see the world.

My style is fluid. I love experimenting with new techniques and subjects, following curiosity wherever it leads. Some works feel more experimental, others carry a more consistent voice, but together they reflect my ongoing search for meaning and my desire to stay humble in the creative process.

For more than a decade, I’ve also taught in the Fashion at SCAD here in Savannah, the city I call home. Teaching and creating continually inform each other, reminding me that art is not only about making,it’s about learning, sharing, and discovering new ways to connect.

I hope my work brings a sense of peace, wonder, or even just a pause in your day, the way it does for me when I create it.
